KYN28A-12 Indoor Metal-Clad Removable Type AC Switchgear

The KYN28A-12 indoor metal-clad removable type AC switchgear (hereinafter referred to as the switchgear) is a complete distribution device for 3.6–12kV three-phase AC 50Hz single busbar and single busbar sectional systems. It is primarily used for power distribution in power plants, industrial and mining enterprises, secondary substations of power systems, and large high-voltage motor starting equipment, providing control, protection, and monitoring functions.

This switchgear complies with IEC 62271-200 and GB/T 3906 standards and features comprehensive “five-proof” interlocking functions. It can be equipped with our VBS4 or VS1 series vacuum circuit breakers, making it a high-performance distribution device.

Product Features:

• The cabinet is made of aluminum-zinc plated steel assembled with multiple folds for strength.

• All operations can be performed with the cabinet door closed.

• High cabinet enclosure sealing with protection rating IP4X; compartments rated IP2X.

• Simple and effective interlocks prevent misoperation. The comprehensive “five-proof” interlock provides reliable safety for operators.

• Circuit breaker replacement is simple; handcart interchangeability is good. Compatible with VSV and other domestic or imported vacuum circuit breakers. Front-accessible maintenance reduces floor space requirements.

• Cable compartments use composite insulation to ensure insulation between phases and to ground.

• Centralized structure with spacious cable compartments capable of connecting multiple cables.

• Observation windows on the panels allow easy monitoring of cable installation.

• Separate grounding copper bars are provided in the cable and secondary instrument compartments, interconnected with adjacent cabinets and in good contact with the cabinet body.
