The VBS4 series indoor high-voltage AC vacuum circuit breakers are suitable for three-phase AC 50Hz power systems with rated voltages of 7.2–40.5kV. They are widely used in substations, power plants, industrial and mining enterprises, airports, and buildings for control and protection of electrical facilities, offering frequent operation and fast reclosing capabilities.
The VBS4 series complies with Chinese standards GB/T 1984-2014 (High-Voltage AC Circuit Breakers), JB/T 3855-2008 (High-Voltage AC Vacuum Circuit Breakers), DL/T 403-2000 (Technical Requirements for Indoor AC High-Voltage Vacuum Circuit Breakers 12kV–40.5kV), and relevant IEC standards IEC 62271-100, IEC 60694, and IEC 62271-1.

◎ Fully enclosed poles with excellent electrical performance
The main circuit of the VBS4 series uses a fully enclosed structure, available in either insulated cylinder or solid-sealed pole designs.
a) Insulated cylinder structure:
Main conductive components are installed longitudinally within an epoxy resin cylinder using APG casting technology, providing excellent arc resistance, aging resistance, and high strength. This structure effectively protects the vacuum interrupter from external forces and environmental contamination, increasing the rated short-time (peak) current withstand capability.
b) Solid-sealed pole structure (P series):
Miniature vacuum interrupters and other main circuit components are directly solid-sealed within epoxy resin using advanced APG technology. This simplifies pole assembly, enhances the reliability of the conductive path, and prevents the vacuum interrupter surface from being affected by external mechanical forces or environmental conditions.
◎ Advanced corrosion-resistant mechanism design
Structural components feature high corrosion and salt-spray resistance with zinc-nickel alloy treatment; transmission components are treated with high-hardness, wear-resistant, corrosion-resistant nickel-phosphorus alloy; bearings use INA oil-free graphite bearings for high strength and durability.
◎ C2-rated breaker
The breaker ensures extremely low probability of restrike during capacitive current interruption, meeting C2-level requirements.
◎ E2-rated breaker
Tested at Shenyang and Xi’an High Voltage Electrical Research Institutes, the breaker meets E2-level standards. Small current breakers can interrupt full-capacity short-circuit currents up to 30 times, and large current breakers up to 20 times.
